I'm Baldomero, a computer science engineer from Universidad Austral de Chile. Since 2016 I have been building software across almost every layer: frontend, backend, mobile, databases, cloud and hardware. I've worked in digital banking and fintech (MACHBANK, Destacame), industrial safety (Zyght) and edtech (ClassroomTV), and I led Destacame's cross-platform app with Kotlin Multiplatform back when almost nobody was running it in production.
I don't stick to one piece of the problem. In my projects I design the data model, write the security policies, build the app, configure DNS and email, set up the CI/CD pipeline and, when needed, solder the circuit and write the firmware.
My current focus is agentic development: workflows where AI agents plan, implement and verify code under strict rules, with approved specs, mandatory tests and guardrails that prevent them from touching production. This isn't AI as autocomplete. It's an engineering system where AI works with the discipline of a senior team.
I have a full-time role and take on select freelance projects where I can make a real difference: products that need to reach production, teams that want to adopt AI seriously, or ideas that blend software and hardware.
